RIYADH: All roads lead to China for the 19th Asian Games, which will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8.

Saudi Arabia is sending 193 athletes to the games, where they will compete across 19 sports ranging from fencing to wrestling and rowing to golf.

The host nation will have 886 athletes in competition at Hangzhou. 

Athletes will compete across 61 sporting disciplines with 481 gold medals up for grabs.

The archery, artistic swimming, boxing, breakdancing, hockey, modern pentathlon, sailing, tennis and water polo events will serve as Olympic qualifiers for Paris 2024.

Esports and breakdancing promise to be standout features of the continental games, with the latter discipline set to make its debut at the Paris Olympics next year.
